DAMAGE GUARANTEE TERMS&CONDITIONS

BELOW ARE THE ENGLISH TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE HANKOOK365 DAMAGE GUARANTEE, LISTED ALPHABETICALLY BY COUNTRY.

 

CZECH REPUBLIC

HANKOOK PROVIDES ACCIDENTAL DAMAGE COVERAGE FOR TIRES

Transport companies based in the Czech Republic and Slovakia that purchase Hankook truck and bus tires of size R17.5 and above from official sales partners of Hankook Tire Česká republika s.r.o. in the Czech Republic and Slovakia between 1 January 2025 and 31 December 2025 are eligible to participate in the HANKOOK365 DAMAGE GUARANTEE campaign (hereinafter the “Campaign”), which includes compensation under the damage guarantee provided by Hankook Tire Česká republika s.r.o.

1. To participate in this campaign, the consumer must register their purchase

on the website www.hankook365.com within 15 working days from the date of the invoice by completing the registration form with the required information (name, surname, country, email address, invoice number), uploading the invoice, and reading and approving the Campaign Terms & Conditions and GDPR notice in order to register the invoice for future use of the damage guarantee.

2. The HANKOOK365 DAMAGE GUARANTEE, offered by Hankook Tire Česká republika s.r.o., is valid for 1 year from the invoice date (proof: invoice).

3. Only a purchase invoice dated between 1.1.2025 and 31.12.2025

showing the purchased Hankook tires will be accepted as proof of purchase.
Delivery notes or any other documents than the tire supplier’s purchase invoice, even if all information appears clearly, are not valid.

4. A damage guarantee claim must be submitted at

www.hankook365.com/damage-guarantee after the date of tire damage by completing the damaged tire registration form with:

  • country
  • invoice number
  • email address
  • serial number
  • size and name of the damaged tire

and uploading:

  • a photo of the DOT area
  • a photo of the sidewall showing size and pattern
  • a photo of the damage from the outside
  • a photo of the damage from the inside

Applicants must read and approve the Campaign Terms & Conditions and GDPR notice to submit their claim.

5. The guarantee covers accidental, irreparable damage

to a new (not regrooved or retreaded) tire that makes it unusable (not suitable for further driving), resulting from events such as:

  • punctures
  • cuts

6. The HANKOOK365 DAMAGE GUARANTEE does NOT cover:

  • Costs of mounting, demounting, and balancing guaranteed or replacement tires
  • Damage caused by fire or hydrocarbons
  • Damage resulting from improper mounting, incorrect or unsuitable use (e.g., using regional or highway tires on construction sites/off-road)
  • Noise, vibrations, wear, handling issues
  • Theft or attempted theft
  • Any damage, harm, loss, or financial cost incurred during or after tire damage
  • Quotation or replacement/repair costs incurred without prior approval from Hankook Tire Česká republika s.r.o. or a company providing service on its behalf
  • Tires showing wear resulting from misuse on the day of damage (load, speed rating)
  • Tires with remaining tread depth below 2 mm, or tires that are regrooved or retreaded
  • Damage to the vehicle or to third parties
  • Damage caused by natural forces or disasters
  • Damage resulting from a traffic accident
  • Damage caused by vandalism
  • Tires with removed or unreadable serial numbers, DOT numbers, or barcodes
  • Cases where the tire has disappeared or been destroyed

7. A registered damage claim will be reviewed and verified within 15 working days,

and the evaluation result will be sent to the customer by email.

8. Claims submitted without a registered invoice will not be accepted.

9. After the technical inspection of the damaged tire,

if the tire is deemed irreparable, the amount of compensation will be calculated from the original invoiced net price of the tire (excluding VAT and service costs), based on the date of the damage claim submission on www.hankook365.com/damage-guarantee and the tire purchase date (proof: invoice), as follows:

10. The Hankook365 Damage Guarantee Campaign is administered by a campaign management agency based in Turkey.

Approved payments for accepted claims will be made through an official sales partner of Hankook Tire Česká republika s.r.o.
To enable payment, the customer will be required to issue an invoice for the exact approved compensation amount to the official Hankook Tire Česká republika s.r.o. sales partner from whom the tire was purchased. This partner will then invoice the same amount to Hankook Tire Česká republika s.r.o.

The email sent to customers with approved claims will include a summary of the awarded compensation amount.

11. Hankook Tire Česká republika s.r.o. reserves the right to inspect the tire physically

within one month of a duly reported and registered claim request.

12. Payment to the eligible customer (end user) will be made within 30–60 days

after the claim has been approved, based on the invoice received.

HUNGARY

HANKOOK PROVIDES EXTRA WARRANTY COVERAGE IN THE EVENT OF ACCIDENTAL DAMAGE TO ITS TIRES

We offer 365 days of extra warranty from the invoice date for all new Hankook-branded regional and long-haul truck tires. This covers accidental damage that renders the tire unusable.

1. Beneficiary:
The end user or fleet that purchases Hankook truck tires from an authorized Hankook truck tire dealer in Hungary for transportation activities.

2. Eligible products:
New Hankook truck tires (the extra warranty does not apply to regrooved or retreaded tires).

The HANKOOK365 DAMAGE GUARANTEE applies to the following new regional and long-haul truck tire patterns sold through Hankook Tire Budapest Kft.:

Sizes 17.5” and 19.5”: AH35, DH35, TH31, TL20
Size 22.5”: AH51, DH51, TH31, AL50, DL50, AL51, DL51, TL20

3. Purpose of the HANKOOK365 DAMAGE GUARANTEE:

To mitigate damage caused by accidental impacts (punctures, cuts) that render the tire unusable.

4. Exclusions:

The HANKOOK365 DAMAGE GUARANTEE does not cover:

  • Mounting and dismounting costs, balancing costs (for either the insured tire or the replacement tire)
  • Damage caused by contact with hydrocarbons
  • Damage resulting from installation errors, improper operation, or aggressive use
  • Rolling noise, vibration, irregular wear, driving characteristics
  • Theft or attempted theft
  • Financial loss or any other damage incurred by the beneficiary as a result of or following the tire damage
  • Purchase and replacement costs without prior approval from Hankook or the company acting on behalf of Hankook
  • Tires that show wear due to improper use on the day of the damage (load capacity, speed index)
  • Tires whose remaining tread depth has fallen below the legal minimum (1.6 mm)
  • Any damage to the vehicle or damage caused to third parties
  • Tire damage caused by natural disasters
  • Tires involved in an accident
  • Vandalism or intentional damage
  • Damage to a tire that is repairable

5. Validity Period:

The HANKOOK365 DAMAGE GUARANTEE provided by Hankook is valid for one year from the invoice date (the purchase is proven by the issued invoice).

6. Compensation Rules

After inspecting the tire, if the tire is deemed unrepairable, the credit amount is calculated based on the net tire value shown on the invoice (excluding mounting costs).

7. Verification

The customer must register the purchase on the HANKOOK365 DAMAGE GUARANTEE  website: www.hankook365.com

Registration must be completed within 15 days of purchase and before any damage occurs, including uploading the invoice and relevant information (proof: invoice, DOT numbers, and serial numbers of the affected tires).

HANKOOK365 DAMAGE GUARANTEE claim can only be submitted after the uploaded invoice is approved by the Hankook commercial department.
Claims must be submitted within 15 days of the incident via the online form on the HANKOOK365 DAMAGE GUARANTEE website.

Claims with invalid invoices or incomplete submissions will be rejected.

8. Beneficiary Compensation

Within 5 working days after reviewing and approving the registration on the HANKOOK365 DAMAGE GUARANTEE website, the customer will receive an email confirmation regarding acceptance of the invoice and submitted DOT/serial numbers.

Within 7 working days after reviewing and approving the claim (if the incident meets the criteria in points 4 and 5), the beneficiary will be notified of the evaluation, and payment will be issued within 8–10 weeks.

In some cases, Hankook may request additional information, documents, or an on-site inspection related to the submitted claim. The beneficiary will be notified.

The amount of financial compensation is calculated based on the purchase price of the tire listed on the invoice, considering the invoice date.
Incomplete claims may result in denial of payment.

9. The HANKOOK365 DAMAGE GUARANTEE Ends:

  • Upon expiry of the warranty period defined in point 5
  • In case the tire is lost or completely destroyed

ROMANIA

HANKOOK PROVIDES ACCIDENTAL DAMAGE COVERAGE FOR TIRES

Participation in the program becomes active after approval by the local Hankook Tire & Technologies sales representative.

1. Beneficiary

The end user or Fleet that purchased Hankook-branded tires from a LOCAL PREMIUM HANKOOK TIRE PARTNER in each country.

2. Validity Period

The HANKOOK365 DAMAGE GUARANTEE, offered by Hankook Tire, is valid for 1 year from the invoice date (proof: invoice).

Tire registration must be completed before the accident.

The warranty claim must be submitted after the date of the accident.

3. Products Included in the Program

Hankook truck tires (not retreaded or regrooved):

The HANKOOK365 DAMAGE GUARANTEE applies to all new truck tires in the Regional/Hybrid range sold and distributed by Hankook Tire Romania:

Segments:
Smartflex AH11, AH22, AH31, AH33, AH35, AH51, AL20, AL20w, AL22, AL50, AL51, DH05, DH31, DH33, DH35, DH51, DL10+, DL20w, DL22, DL50, DL51, TH22, TH31, TL20

4. Purpose of the HANKOOK365 DAMAGE GUARANTEE:

The guarantee covers accidental tire damage that makes the tire unusable,

such as punctures or cuts.

5. Exclusions

The HANKOOK365 DAMAGE GUARANTEE does not cover:

  • Mounting, dismounting, and balancing costs for the guaranteed tire or the replacement tire
  • Damage caused by fire or hydrocarbons
  • Damage resulting from improper installation, improper use, or abusive use of the guaranteed tire
  • Issues such as noise, vibrations, wear, handling, and drivability problems
  • Theft or attempted theft of the guaranteed tire
  • Damage or financial loss suffered by the beneficiary during or after the damage to the guaranteed tire
  • Quotation and replacement costs incurred without prior approval from Hankook or any company authorized to perform this service on behalf of Hankook
  • Tires that, on the day of the damage, show wear resulting from use that does not comply with usage standards (load, speed index)
  • Tires whose wear exceeds the limits established by the Road Code of each country (e.g., 1.6 mm)
  • Damage caused to the vehicle or to third parties
  • Damage caused by natural disasters
  • Tires involved in a traffic accident
  • Tires subject to vandalism
  • Tires missing a serial number, DOT number, or barcode number

6. Beneficiary Compensation:

After examining and validating the warranty claim by Hankook (provided it meets the conditions listed in points 4 and 5), payment will be issued to the beneficiary (end user) within 8 to 10 weeks.

This financial compensation will be calculated based on the purchase price shown on the invoice uploaded on the purchase date.

Hankook reserves the right to inspect the tire within one month of receiving the information.

7. Payment Guarantee:

After technical inspection, if the tire is not repairable, the compensation amount will be calculated from the purchase invoice value, excluding taxes and mounting costs.

9. Termination of the HANKOOK365 DAMAGE GUARANTEE:

The guarantee ends:

  • At the end of the warranty period as defined in point 2
  • In case of disappearance or destruction of the tire
  • If the tire cannot be identified by its serial number, barcode number, or DOT number

10. Requirements

  • The beneficiary must upload the purchase invoice from the local Hankook dealer to the HANKOOK365 DAMAGE GUARANTEE website (www.hankook365.com), and the invoice must include the tire specifications (size, pattern, LI/SS), as well as the DOT number, serial number, and barcode number.
  • An incomplete warranty claim cannot result in compensation.
  • Missing serial number, DOT number, or barcode number cannot result in compensation.

SLOVAKIA
